Courtney’s love of yoga began with power yoga over ten years ago. She was trained in Bryan Kest’s power yoga one year later. But she loved the effect that yoga had on not only her body but also her mind. She wanted to learn more about how yoga impacted the mind-body connection. So a year after that she received her RYT in psychotherapeutic yoga. She continues to read about the scientific studies showing how yoga, breath work, and meditation impact the mind. Her classes combine her love of music and movement with her passion for mental health (minus all of the science-y stuff). For the last 2 years, she has been partnering with therapists to teach yoga for mental wellness in private and group settings.

Beyond the yoga mat, Courtney loves to travel and try new cuisines wherever she finds herself. And wherever she goes, her dog Kairo is probably with her. He likes good food, too. Courtney’s desire is that when you come to her class, you feel welcome and safe—safe in your head, body, and in the class.
