Safe functional movements for all levels topped with a fresh playlist each class to keep the energy high.
My practice began back in high school when I had the urge to explore breath and movement outside the walls of regular sports. I found my regular classes at American Power Yoga (APY), and continued practicing there until the doors were closed.
After APY closing I was lead to Satya Yoga (formerly known as Namah Shivaya) recognized by Yoga Alliance where I did my 200-hour teacher training in 2014. I began teaching immediately after training and have continued to fall in love with yoga every day that I get to learn from my own practice as well as others.
A few of my favorite teachers to study are, Erin Gilmore based out of San Fransisco, California. Claudine Lafond through YogaGlo and I’ve recently been studying the training Jenni Rawling’s has to offer about yoga anatomy and movement science.
I believe it’s important to continue to explore safe, functional movements that are designed to strengthen the body and prevent injuries.
