Background & Influence

I began teaching yoga in 2017 after I decided to leave the corporate world. I had begun practicing yoga years prior in an effort to relieve physical tension, as well as stress and anxiety. First came my love for asana, the yogic poses, and then I began to study yogic history and philosophy. That’s when I began to find healing through the practice of yoga. I am currently an E-200/500 hour trained instructor and a Yoga Teacher Training instructor at Satya Yoga (formerly Namah Shivaya).

I try to incorporate different aspects of yoga into the classes I teach, such as pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. I am a trauma informed instructor whose classes are safe and approachable for all ages and backgrounds. Come join me on the mat to relax the mind and energize the body!

Outside of yoga, I enjoy hanging with my hubby and daughter, Juniper. You may also find me diving deeper into the world of natural birth. I love helping prenatal and postpartum mamas through the practice of yoga. And I’m also a certified placenta encapsulation specialist and a postpartum doula in training.
